I was genuinely surprised by the shift I experienced on the third day when I entered ketosis: almost no hunger, so much mental and emotional clarity, and a level of energy I didn’t expect at all.

I participated already in 2025 in this wonderful ritual. As a self employed I usually drown in life’s chaos and have a really hard time with feeling connected.
I thought I was used to hunger because I fast during Ramadan for years, but this waterfast really softened me. It made me more sensitive and aware of food and reminded me of this blessing.
So if you think about trying it, you should! Not only your soul evolves but also your body will feel amazing!

The biggest thing I learned was really shifting my mindset from I'm in pain/hungry/uncomfortable to realizing that by denying temporary pleasures I was allowing myself to heal.
Also I feel this has given me such an appreciation for food/nutrition and will help me focus for the rest of the year on making sure the things I am putting into my body are fueling it well and helping it, rather than just "this taste good".
Also another huge benefit is overall inflammation and bloating. I will send you a before and after picture.

I feel very good, I would love to carry on, but I am also really looking forward to eating, enjoying things mindfully, preparing food... I have more energy, yesterday in yoga class my body felt a lot lighter and that was not only less weight on my ribs but also emotional baggage, I really felt that 🙏🏽

I'm still glad I was able to do it for 3 days. I think it would have been easier if I wasn't working at the same time. I definitely want to do it again before my birthday in 3weeks. I feel much now than before the fast. I had some gut pain before starting but now it's all gone. I've always loved to fast but never went beyond 24hrs. I really loved it this time 😊
